Moving Mountains

Filmed on location with an embedded camera crew, Moving Mountains follows five Nebraska State Senators on their journey up Mount Kilimanjaro. Separated in office by political ideology, philosophy, and differing life experiences, these five Senators work to move beyond what separates them by coming together as a team to overcome the daunting challenge of reaching Kilimanjaro’s 19,341-foot summit.

The compelling video of the climb tells the story completely from the perspective of the Senators. Their raw, emotional, personal narratives–captured amongst moments of extreme physical and mental duress–reveals an inspirational and incredible journey as these Senators learn to trust one another in order to achieve a larger goal; the very philosophy they know will lead them to build a better Nebraska together.
